Sanjay Kadu Appointed as New Chief Design Officer
Dekker Perich Sabatini (DPS) is excited to announce the recent promotion of Sanjay Kadu to Chief Design Officer. Kadu joined the DPS team as an intern more than 20 years ago, growing into a successful design leader in the firm’s Education Studio and joining the firm’s roster of Principals 8 years ago.
His impact on education through design across the Southwest is exemplified in projects including North Star Elementary School, Del Norte High School, Bernalillo High School in New Mexico, ISD Travis 6th Grade Campus, Pinnacle Intermediate School, Bobby Joe Hill PreK-8 School, Irvin High School in Texas, and Lukachukai Community School in Arizona.

Kadu fills a key role as Chief Design Officer: shaping and managing the firm’s philosophical and tactical approach to design. He leads the firm’s commitment to designing spaces which are dynamic, tuned to peoples’ needs, and long-lasting—resulting in spaces that support our communities, today and far beyond. Kadu’s ability to bring people together and build opportunity into the design process are two of many reasons he is an excellent fit for the role of CDO. DPS is excited to expand his design leadership across the firm’s four offices, spanning Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.
