Principal / Architect

Sanjay Kadu | Architect | Dekker/Perich/Sabatini

For over 15 years, Sanjay has focused entirely on the advancement of educational facilities. He has designed a number of award-winning schools, such as the “fun, friendly, and flexible” nex+Gen Academy that supports 21st century learning, as well as schools with unique, adaptable small learning communities, like Travis 6th Grade Campus.

He also specializes in facility and campus replacement projects, like Del Norte and Bernalillo High Schools, which transform older, scattered campuses into state-of-the-art consolidated campuses that improve circulation and meet current educational needs. With all replacement projects, Sanjay utilizes phasing schedules to keep existing facilities and campuses operational throughout construction.

Sanjay’s primary concern is ensuring flexibility and functionality to support learning today and for generations to come. As an architect specializing in K-12 school design, Sanjay is dedicated to working with school districts and communities to develop places that help students and teachers work better and achieve their best.

He currently serves on the Board of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to advancing the cultural and scientific programs and purposes of the museum.
