Principal / Landscape Architect
Mimi strives to create memorable, sustainable places for her clients and their communities that connect people to nature. Her designs evolve from each site - reflecting the project’s unique historical, cultural, and environmental context. Mimi stumbled upon Landscape Architecture while at SUNY-College of Environmental Science and Forestry. “I thought I was going to be a forest ranger or a lawyer for the Sierra Club, but found out that the solitude of a ranger’s life freaked me out and I wasn’t any good at law. Landscape architecture made use of the science classes I had behind me, was aligned with my love of the outdoors and had strong connections to the social sciences and the arts.” Besides the creative work at D/P/S, Mimi finds joy living in New Mexico, traveling with her awesome family, playing soccer, and acting in community theater.
