Michael Gibson, AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Associate / Architect

Mike Gibson | Architect | Dekker/Perich/Sabatini

Mike is an associate in healthcare design, and with more than 15 years’ experience, excels at balancing visions with practical applications. From the very first kick-off meeting, Mike learns in-depth details about a project, and through mock-ups and exercises that include both client and user perspectives, helps establish a clear vision. From that, he explores several solutions with clients to prioritize objectives and finalize designs.

Having worked on everything from emergency to rehabilitation services, Mike is knowledgeable about all parts of a hospital and how to support medical and imaging equipment. Always striving for new heights, Mike stays up-to-date on evidence-based design research and is currently pursuing ACHA certification. He is an AIA member and LEED Accredited Professional, helping Rust Medical Center achieve a high Energy Star rating and Fort Bayard Medical Center earn LEED Silver.
