Architect / Senior Living Market Leader

With over 30 years of experience, John possesses a broad base of knowledge in the planning, design and design management of complex projects. Throughout his career he has been instrumental in the marketing, business development, client relationship building and execution of senior living projects as well as commercial, mixed-use, industrial, and multifamily housing.

John has concentrated the better part of his professional career designing environments for aging populations. Combining research-based ideologies, an aptitude for design, and strong organizational skills, he has successfully worked with clients to analyze needs and respond with creative and timely solutions that have resulted in successful, award-winning and published projects. These projects, most importantly, have fulfilled client vision and enriched the lives of residents.

As a speaker, John has addressed national and state conferences on trends in senior living design and environmental design for special needs populations. He served as the Jury Chair for the AIA Design for Aging Review Ninth Cycle and served a 5-year term as a member of the AIA Design for Aging Advisory Group.
