Benjamin H. Gardner III, AIA, LEED AP

Benjamine Gardner | Architect | Dekker/Perich/Sabatini

Benjamin is dedicated to improving the built environment using skills acquired from a combined background in architecture, construction, and construction management. As one of the Principals of D/P/S’s Commercial Group, and formerly focused on educational design, Benjamin’s 17 years at Dekker/Perich/Sabatini has given him a breadth of project experience that informs his understanding of the issues faced by developers.

In addition to leading multiple project teams through all phases of planning, design, and construction administration, Benjamin has a long history of developing his family-owned properties, including hotels and a Montessori preschool and elementary school serving over 200 students, which he co-founded with his wife. His background provides him with a clear understanding of commercial real estate development, including mixed-use, retail, and civic properties.

An active member of several professional associations, Benjamin serves on the Board of Explora Science Center and Children's Museum of Albuquerque and is a member of the Board's Executive Committee. He is also active in business development and community outreach efforts for D/P/S.
