Railyard Flats

Railyard Flats is the first multi-family apartment project in the Santa Fe Railyard District, a hub for entertainment, shopping, food, and contemporary arts. The project is a cooperative effort among the Santa Fe Railyard Community Corporation (SFRCC), the adjoining neighborhoods, the City of Santa Fe, and the state of New Mexico.

Railyard Flats is an innovative urban design for Santa Fe with its focus on density and walkability.

Because it’s in the Railyard District, the building had to meet specific requirements regarding design, materials, and height. In addition, the project had to consider its immediate proximity to the Railrunner right of way. All windows are acoustically rated to reduce the noise generated by passing trains. The three story wood frame building contains approximately 45,000sf of space on ¬Ω acre of leased land from the Santa Fe Railyard Community Corporation.

Railyard Flats is an innovative urban design for Santa Fe with its focus on density and walkability. It contains 58 compact units of 8 different types including studios and one and two bedroom apartments. Each unit has stylish high end looking finishes and private patio with exterior storage.

The parking for the project is an existing lot with one space per apartment dedicated to the project. The ground level contains an attractive co-work area for tenants who wish to work from home and engage with others, a leasing office, and bike storage.

The common area patio with fireplace provides a pleasant meet up area with direct access to the pedestrian/bike trail that connects to both Railyard Park and the rest of the Railyard District. The third floor also provides tenants with a shared terrace with a barbecue grill, outdoor seating, fire pit, and spectacular views of Santa Fe.
