Collaboration STEMs from design
UNR Davidson Math & Science Building
Davidson Math & Science Building is located in the heart of the UNR campus. The primary goal of the building is to enhance collaboration between UNR's science and mathematics programs. To foster collaboration between disciplines, generous circulation and designated lounges on every level facilitate chance encounters and collegial moments.
The building provides multiple undergraduate teaching spaces for chemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics. It also houses faculty offices, a 500-seat lecture hall, and a small cafe. The large classroom and lecture spaces are on the first floor near the main entrance lobby, providing easy access to these high traffic areas. A computer teaching lab and general classrooms on the ground floor also provide convenient access to all educational programs. The faculty offices, private but readily accessible to students, are located in a curvilinear wing above the auditorium. The easy circulation is continued to the exterior design and planning of the project, which connects seamlessly with the rest of campus.
