Interior Designer

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Experience: 2 - 5 years

Dekker/Perich/Sabatini is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to use their communication skills to collaborate in a team-oriented environment and collaborate on highly creative designs for multiple projects. As passionate and self-driven team members at D/P/S, candidates would play a key role in creating inspired interiors backed by the support of a firm that has been a staple in the industry for over 60 years.


  • Assist lead designers with all facets of a project, from research and programming through construction documentation and construction administration
  • Participate in client meetings and team coordination sessions
  • Prepare construction documents and architectural specifications for projects of varying scope and size on a variety of product types
  • Create renderings, finish palettes, and other presentation materials throughout the project process to communicate design intent to both internal teams and clients
  • Prepare selections and develop specifications for both interior design and furniture packages, as applicable
  • Participate in site visits, submittal review, and other components of the construction administration process

Desired Qualifications

  • 2-5 years experience in Interior Design or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture preferred
  • State licensure / NCIDQ certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of Revit is a must. Foundational knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup, InDesign, and Photoshop ideal
