Uptown Park

ABQ Uptown | Ventura Place | Uptown Park | Plaza Santa Fe

This site, the former location of Bookstar, is located on a prime site on Louisiana Boulevard in Albuquerque’s Uptown. The original building was torn down to the foundation and rebuilt as “Uptown Park,” a small, upscale shopping center with two restaurants and four retail spaces. The park site north of the building was re-landscaped and dedicated to outdoor restaurant seating.

Dekker/Perich/Sabatini designed the new 15,600sf building, which features illuminated towers on the north and south ends and illuminated canopies along Louisiana Boulevard. Retail spaces in the building range from 1,400 to 5,700sf.
