Steven J. Perich, AIA

Steve serves as the Managing Partner for D/P/S, bringing over 25 years of team-building and problem solving experience to the task.    

A registered architect and graduate of Texas Tech University, Steve worked on large scale, high-profile office, hospitality and mixed-use projects in the Dallas, Texas market for a number of years. In time he relocated to New Mexico with his family to take advantage of the natural amenities of the state. Since 1992, Steve has served as President of the firm as it has grown at an average annualized rate of almost 30% expanding beyond just New Mexico to become a regional presence across the western United States with branch offices in Texas and Nevada. Along with the other two name Principals, Steve sets and guides strategic direction for the firm, and personally handles the hiring of all key members of the firm.  

In addition to his firm management duties, Steve takes pleasure in being personally involved in a few selected projects at any given time.   Staying engaged in the design process not only keeps him current and vital with regard to the ever-changing challenges of the industry, but is also personally fulfilling.  Steve takes great pride in seeing the firm of talented individuals he works with daily play a key role in helping make their clients’ dreams and goals come true.
