This new worship space responds to the renewed liturgy and a desire to incorporate sacred art as a main component of the spaces. The task of the liturgical design consultants and architects was to fashion a unified beauty through blending of architecture and art. The 1100 seat assembly gathers around the sanctuary in a 'U' shaped seating pattern. A wood carved "Tree of Life" reredos creates a backdrop for sanctuary setting. Setting the altar reredos in front of the back wall allowed the sanctuary platform to be pulled farther into the assembly.
Separate artists were hired for the stained glass, wood sculpture, enamel on metal, bronze fabrication, wood furniture, and wood relief carving. Sanctuary furniture designed by Ken Greisemer. Tabernacle, Baptismal Font, and Processional Cross were designed by Robert Habiger.
