Mimi is the principal-in-charge of the firm’s Landscape + Planning Group, and her passion is creating memorable, sustainable places for her clients and their communities. Her designs evolve from the project site – reflecting the unique historical, cultural, and environmental characteristics of the landscape. Mimi leads a team of talented landscape architects, designers and planners who share DPS’s expectations for design excellence, and she provides design and planning leadership in specialized project areas such as site planning, traditional neighborhood design, green infrastructure and low impact development, parks/recreation/athletics design, healing gardens and community-based planning and design. Mimi is a LEED accredited professional and a CLARB certified landscape architect registered in New Mexico, Texas, Nevada, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and Oregon. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the American Society of Landscape Architecture, and the National Recreation and Parks Association, and in her free time she travels the world with her family and plays soccer.
